Tommy Allen Donaldson's Obituary
Tommy Allen Donaldson, 80, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away at home April 14, 2026. Born in Birmingham, AL, Tom graduated from Tupelo (MS) High School where he played basketball and baseball. He received a degree in business from the University of Memphis. He loved sports and especially enjoyed cheering for Alabama football. After retiring from a successful career in sales, he enjoyed playing golf with his Monday and Thursday church groups.
A man of deep faith, Tom was a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ, where he frequently taught an adult Bible class and worked in the Manna Ministry. His passion was visiting and encouraging people to grow in their personal faith. He honorably served in the Army during the Vietnam War. One of his greatest joys was being GranGrad to his three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents Byron Wallace Donaldson and Frances Josephine Varnon Donaldson and siblings Byron Donaldson and JoAnne Andersen. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Cathy Green Donaldson, daughter Lesley Barker (Brian) of Fishers, IN, grandsons Andrew, Brenden, and Caden Barker, and sister Nancy Vickery (Glenn) of Daphne, AL, sister-in-law Sharon Donaldson of Mobile, AL, as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday April 17th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Bentonville Church of Christ. A Celebration of Life will follow with interment in Magnolia Gardens in Corinth, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Manna Ministry, Bentonville Church of Christ, 904 N. Walton Blvd., Bentonville, AR 72712.
