Tommy Jones' Obituary
Tommy G. Jones, 61, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 in Springdale. He was born April 18, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. The son of Thomas Henry and Alameda (Reavis) Jones. He was a graduate of Ft. Smith Northside and attended the University of Arkansas; he attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Fayetteville where he was the music director and organist for more than twenth-four years. He and his father owned and operated Jones Motor Sales and Ryder Truck Rental for many years.
He is survived by his wife; Gail Jones of Springdale, Arkansas, one son; Mike Jones of Dallas, Texas, one brother; Dan Jones of Owasso, Oklahoma and one sister; Susan White of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the First Church Of The Nazarene, 2857 North Old Missouri Road in Fayetteville, with Pastor Larry Woodward and Pastor Warren Foxworthy officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be; Cary Guinn, Arlow Harp, Scott Woodward, Rick Sullivan, James Sherry and Ken Guinn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brad Spurlock, Allen Terry, Rob Ceola, Cory Scates and Ken Ray.
Visitation will be 5:00 till 9:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2007 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
