Trudy Sawyer's Obituary
Trudy Sawyer, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away January 22, 2011, at her home. She was born August 16, 1926, in Monett, MO, to the late Mary and Charles Gordon Howard.
A long-time resident of Fayetteville, Trudy was a typist for the NW Arkansas Times. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, and playing games with her family. She was a member of the Ridgeview Baptist Church. Trudy especially enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Eugene Sawyer.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Sue Evans and husband Donny of Alma, two grandchildren, Jason Hattabaugh and his wife Jennifer of Fayetteville and Kimberly Caswell of Ft. Smith. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Oren Caswell and Tyler Corley.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private burial will be held in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
