Velma Irene Hafliger, 71 of Bentonville, AR passed away Sunday, July 11, 2004 in her home. She was born July 22, 1932 in Colony, Kansas to Albert Ray and Jessie Edith (Griggle) Chambers. She liked to cook, sew, and fish.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Hafliger, one daughter, Barbara Higgs of Lowell, AR, one son, Gary Hafliger of Cave Springs, AR, one brother, Dean Chambers of Iola, KS.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
