Verna Jewel Graves, 100 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, July 27, 2009 in Springdale, AR. She was born February 5, 1909 in Childress, TX to Ed Y. Forbes and Hester A. (Clements) Forbes. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, NC.
She is survived by two daughters; Jennifer Bean of Fayetteville, AR, Carolyn Bickel of Elizabeth City, NC, one brother; Bob Forbes of Marble Falls, TX, eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Electra, TX.
