Vida June (Gibbs) Johnson, 87 of Springdale, AR formerly of Fayetteville, AR passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 in Springdale, AR. She was born August 13, 1922 in Carrollton, AR to Luther Benton Gibbs and Myrtle (Brown) Gibbs. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman D. Johnson, one son; Herman Ross Johnson, and one daughter; Cheryl (Johnson) Walters.
She is survived by one son; Mark Johnson of Rogers, AR, three daughters; Betsy (Johnson) McCloud of Branchport, NY, Carolle (Johnson) Stupelis of Springdale, AR, Marion (Johnson) Miller, of Boise, ID, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Baptist Ford Cemetery near Greenland, AR with Rev. James Longmate officiating.
