Virginia Mae Meierdiercks' Obituary
Virginia Mae Meierdiercks, age 88, of Fayetteville, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was born July 21, 1929 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Glenn L. and Florence Wenzel Cooke.
She was a devoted wife and mother and an active member of Cross Church in Springdale. She traveled extensively and was an avid outdoorswoman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Robert Meierdiercks; a daughter, Tamera Sotorske of Elkins, Arkansas; two sons, Steven Meierdiercks of Wesley, Arkansas and Robert Meierdiercks and his wife Dona of Pawleys Island, South Carolina and four grandchildren, Erick Meierdiercks of San Bernardino, California, Sarah Sotorske of Elkins, Arkansas, Jennifer Skochin of Pawleys Island, South Carolina and Ryan Skochin of Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday at Moore’s Chapel with a private family burial in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
