So sorry to hear of this. Since Jerry and I are not connected to her or your FB we are seeing this for the first time. We both met Missy through your Dad and attended their wedding. She was a delight to know and the times we did get to visit before we moved to KC, we really did enjoy her and her friendly personality. She will always be in our warm memories. There is no place to start my memories of Missy, because our friendship evolved so long ago it’s like it’s just always been there. There is also no end, as she will be in my heart forever.

I’ve been lucky enough to have shared many memories with this beautiful soul. I remember when I was in 6th grade she gave me a ride home from school every day in exchange for helping her in her classroom. On the way home we would talk about how our days went and just life in general. I’ll always cherish those special times with her!! She was just so much more than just a neighbor to me. She watched me grow up. She was always there! I took my graduation pictures on her back deck one Spring because her flowers were blooming so beautifully. She loved and tended to the people in her life as she did with her beautiful flowers. All in, with so much care and nurturing. I will miss her so very much.
Sister, mother, daughter, friend to so many - Missy understood how important were relationships and she spent her life being kind, caring and compassionate as well as calling others to a better life. Her gardens bloomed from love and attention and her friendships lasted due to thoughtfulness and love. During a difficult time in both our lives, Missy and I would end the day in her hot tub, watching the stars, listening to each other's angst, laughing at nothing and everything. I am grateful to be part of the posse. Rest well.
