David, this is directed to you. We were FHS classmates. I don't remember if we ever had classes together or otherwise interacted. However, reading your Dad's obituary brought back memories of 60 some years ago. Back then not only docs, but insurance agents made house calls. Outside of my parents, your dad was, in my simple mind, cool before we were supposed to spell it kewl.
We are very sorry to hear of Ward's passing. Our hearts go out to his family. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. We met him 20 year ago when we started carrying his paper to him daily.
So sorry to hear of Ward,s passing. I use to enjoy playing music with him. We both enjoyed playing Western Swing music. He will surely be missed. Melba, our prayers are with you and the family.
It was a joy to me to meet Ward through my sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Gary King. My condolences to all the family. Ward and his music will be so missed. Thinking of you all.
