Wauhillau Dotson's Obituary
Wauhillau June Dotson, 86 of Springdale, AR formerly of Clarksville, AR, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Rogers, AR, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born June 15, 1939 in Pruitt, AR to Floyd Walton and Myrtle (Gibson) Walton. She was retired from Clarksville Footwear after working there for 36 years.
She was a member of East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church in Clarksville, and after moving to Northwest Arkansas, she attended Trinity Fellowship in Fayetteville. Wauhillau, also lovingly known as “Nanny” by her family, lived a life marked by quiet strength and generous love. She treasured time spent with her family, made sure everyone else was taken care of, never forgot a birthday, and enjoyed doing word searches and playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Myrtle Walton, a daughter, Donna Krissman, two brothers, Leo Walton and Bill Walton, and three sisters, Evelyn Colston, Anita Cook, and Barbara Sue Walton.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Rogers and husband Darren of Tontitown, AR; two sisters, Katherine Nance and husband Joe of Jasper, AR, Shirley Cooper of Walters, OK, and one brother, Donnie Walton of Lead Hill, AR; four grandchildren, Chris Roberts, Lauren Krissman, Heather Hughes, and Brad Rogers; seven great grandchildren, and many other loved ones.
Though we mourn her absence, we rejoice knowing she is now fully healed, restored, and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus, hearing the words she lived for: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 22nd at Trinity Fellowship in Fayetteville with Pastor Darren Rogers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Fellowship - 1100 East Rolling Hills Drive Fayetteville, AR 72703.
