Wayne R. Morrison, age 78, of Rogers passed away Sunday March 2, 2025, in Springdale. He was born June 7, 1946, in Camden, Arkansas to Willard Leo and Frances Mead Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Fra Read Obituary
Passing condolences to Sharon and the entire family on both sides. Wayne was our pastor when my husband and I were married. He was always there with guiding words of wisdom and with my husband’s passing he and Sharon continued like a big brother and sister helping through the healing process. I will forever be grateful for their love and prayers. A solid rock to lean on, thank you both for your constant dedication to God and others, blessings forever and always. Amen 🫂🙏🏻💝
So many memories of Community Chapel church, Wayne and all the other ministers that started their ministries there. Loved those Sunday afternoon softball games that sometimes got a little rough. Peace and comfort to Wayne’s family and extended family.
I grew up in Community Chapel in NLR. Wayne's uncle was my pastor. I watched Wayne respond to God's call to ministry as a teen. Over the years I've lost track of Wayne and Lou (I still see Rick Morrison occasionally), but when I saw this I wanted to offer my condolences. There were many of us that came out of Community Chapel that went into pastoral ministry. Wayne kind of led the way.
I'm very to sorry for the loss of Wayne. He will always be Uncle Wayne to me. Love to you Randy and Shane, Robin (Baker) Pruitt.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Wayne. He served with me on the Central Committee of the PYPA when he was the President of Arkansas district. He then became the General youth president in later years. May God give all the family strength in this time of change in your life. Don Hamilton
