Wilhelm ''Bill'' Richert's Obituary
Wilhelm “Bill” Richert, age 78, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his home. He was born July 26, 1935 in Hamburg, Germany, the son of Johan and Magdalena Wahl Richert.
He was a retired mechanical engineer and attended Illinois Chapel Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. He was a great husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elta Richert; a brother, Frank Richert of Elkins, Arkansas; two daughters, Arlene Pechacek and her husband Sherm of Willmar, Minnesota; Kathy Birkland of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Darrell Richert and his wife Lynn of Alton, Missouri; Dale Richert and his wife Lesia of Cumming, Georgia; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow at Hazel Valley Cemetery.
