Will Kyle Brown, 88 of Springdale, AR
Beloved brother, father, husband, and friend.
Born to E.G. and Minnie Ida (Beard) Brown on December 29, 1921 in New Edinburg, AR.
Kyle left this earth to be with the Lord from Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale on April 9th, 2010 at 88 years of age.
Kyle was preceded in death by his 1st wife Illeana Brown and 2nd wife Venita Trawick Brown, and by his brothers Troy, James, Joe, and sister Lola.
He is survived by his brother; George Brown and his wife Marge of Billings, Montana, his daughters; Paula Jean Wentz and husband Terry of Springdale, AR, Becky Louks and husband Tom, Sandra Trawick Hayde of Arkansas, Leslie Harrell and husband Bill of Louisiana, one son; David Kyle Brown and wife Kathleen of San Pedro, California, seven grandchildren; Nathanael Hunter Wentz, Alicia Michelle Sauls, Donovan McNamara Brown, Tracy Taylor and husband Darren, Michah Harrell and Elijah Harrell, Beau Beavers, and three great grandchildren; Illeana Sauls, Tabatha Taylor, and Tate Taylor. He also left behind Opal Albright, a very special woman to him.
Kyle served his country as a member of the Army Air Corps beginning in 1940 and the 5th Air Force in the Pacific Theater from 1942 up until his honorable discharge in 1945. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star for Actions during his time in the 5th Air Force.
Kyle went on to a career as a flight engineer for numerous airlines, ending his flying career working in Saudi Arabia. Following hi time overseas, he and his family relocated to Springdale, Arkansas in 1973 where he worked in real estate.
He was a longstanding member of First Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas where he met many of his long-time friends. His faith was reflected in his unshakeable belief that his life was in the Lord’s hands and he showed this faith overcoming numerous challenges. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family and fishing with his friends on Beaver Lake.
Kyle’s family would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the staffs of the Homestyle Assisted Living facility and Circle of Life Hospice of Springdale for their care and support during Kyle’s final days.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, April 12th in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Cliff Palmer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in Kyle’s name to Circle of Life Hospice 901 Jones Road Springdale, AR 72762.
