Ms Bootsie, I was so sad to hear about Bill's passing. He was a good man who I considered a friend, a leader and a hunting partner. I remember one morning in particular, where he showed his brilliance. It was bitterly cold with record force winds in South Dakota, when Bill told us to go ahead and have fun hunting. He was going to stay at the lodge. I assumed he meant in front of the fireplace. He was definitely much smarter than the rest of our group, we should have followed his leadership that day. He will be very much missed.

Bootsie,
Bill was one of the finest and most inspirational men we have ever known, and we are grateful to have known him. I always enjoyed him dropping by my office to say hello and to share information about the places where you all had traveled. He was a true friend to everyone and will be greatly missed.

Bill was a wonderful, inspiring man that had a strong drive to get things done no matter how challenging. Bill served on Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and chaired the board for a number of years. He was instrumental in building a new handicap dock at Lake Fayetteville that has been enjoyed by many for years. Bill made a huge difference in the lives of many and I am so thankful to have been able to work with him. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Bootsie and family!
