William A. Seaman's Obituary
William A. Seaman, 74 of Elkins, AR passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 in Fayetteville. He was born June 16, 1936 in Beardstown, IL to Paul Harold Seaman and Helen (Gray) Seaman.
He was retired from Alcoa, a member of Elk’s Club, Bella Vista Golf Club, Dixon Optimist Club, a Lutheran, and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Seaman, one son; James Seaman of Davenport, IA, one daughter; Cathleen Seaman of Rochester, MN, one step son; Leo Gatewood and wife Nola of Elkins, AR, three step daughters; Sandra Lindquist and husband Jonathan of Jefferson City, MO, Susanne York and husband Myson of Dixon, MO, Barbara Cremer and husband Joseph of Jefferson City, MO, one brother; Richard Seaman of Beardstown, IL, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bella Vista Library.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
