William (Bill) Glen Waggoner's Obituary
William Glen (Bill) Waggoner, of Fayetteville, AR, passed from this life to his eternal home on August 8, 2024. He was born November 17, 1955, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Bobby Glen and Winona (Yeakel) Waggoner.
Bill married Rhonda (Sanger) Waggoner on February 6, 1976, at Logan, OK, and they have three children, Kristal Gano (Wess), Jason Waggoner, Jacob Waggoner, and seven Grandchildren that he loved and adored, Quinton Gano, Weston Gano, Wyatt Waggoner, Kenyan Waggoner, Alivia Gano, Abagail Waggoner and Lainey Waggoner.
The Waggoner’s moved from Roswell, NM, to Elkins, AR, when Bill was 5 years old. Bill attended St. Paul Public School, St. Paul, AR, graduating in 1973, and the Apostolic Faith Bible College, Baxter Springs, KS, graduating in 1976. He had many occupations in his lifetime, including Owner/Operator of a Bulldozing Service, and working in the Trailer Industry with Great Dane Trailers and JB Hunt to name a few. Bill surrendered to his real life calling in 2001, at 46 years of age, to preach the Gospel of Jesus. After that time, he Pastored Churches in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Alabama, Superintendent of the Apostolic Faith Bible College, and ministered in many other places.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, his children, grandchildren, 2 Sisters, Patricia Warford (Gene) and Pamela Waggoner, two brothers, David Waggoner and Delbert Waggoner (Jamie), Mother-In-Law Ilene Sanger, Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of Brothers and Sisters in Christ that were very special to him.
A visitation (2:00pm) and Celebration of Life (3:00pm) will be held on August 10, 2024 at Crosses Community Church, with Pastor Rex Eaton officiating.
