William Charles Corbin's Obituary
William Charles Corbin, of Fayetteville, passed away from natural causes on July 11, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. He was 97 years old. He was born on November 28, 1926, in Zalma, Missouri, to Earl Curtis and Maude (James) Corbin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Dorothy.
Bill was a devout Christian. He was a longtime member of University Baptist Church, and attended until he was no longer able to. He faithfully attended church every Sunday at the Bungalows where he lived. He served in the United States Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force. He worked as a sales representative for Penn Central Railroad and Conrail.
Bill is survived by his nephew Robert H. Stone & family; nephew Kenneth Watkins & family; niece Debra Dingler & family; nephew Richard P. Osborne & family; cousin Dr. John Englehart & family; sister Maude Parker & family; and the many friends who lived with him and came to visit him at the Bungalows.
A visitation for Bill will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 11:00AM at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. A graveside service with Military Honors will follow at 12:30PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home.
