William 'Bill' David Hulsey's Obituary
William David “Bill” Hulsey, Jr., passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his home in Elkins, AR, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 25, 1929 in Calvert, TX to parents William and Eva Hulsey. He and Alma Jeanette Register were married for 63 wonderful years. Bill began his career with the United States Navy in 1948, and proudly served his country until his retirement in 1972.
He is survived by his wife Jenny, of the home in Elkins; a daughter, Karen Pritchard and husband Bill, of Elkins, AR; daughter, Kathy Jo Pianalto and husband Randy, of Lincoln, AR; a son, David Hulsey and wife Carol, of Battleboro, NC; a son, Robert Dale Hulsey (deceased), a sister, Faye Lawson Timmons, of Calvert, TX, grandchildren, Laren Vaught, of Elkins, AR; Jake Pianalto, of Locust Grove, OK; Clay Pianalto, of Summers, AR; Ashley Hulsey, of Burlington, VT; Taylor Hulsey, of Pocatello, ID; and three great-grandchildren, Colten and Caden Vaught, and Jolee Rae Pianalto.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkins, Arkansas.
Graveside services are 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2013 at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR, with Pastor Rex Griffin officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Jake Pianalto, Clay Pianalto, Colten Vaught, and Caden Vaught.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the National Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel, Fayetteville, AR.
