William Ernest Reed's Obituary
William Ernest Reed, age 88, of Winslow, died Monday, October 23, 2017. He was born July 4, 1929 in Winslow, the son of William Earl and Dorothy Perry Reed. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James Leo Reed and Jerry Reed, one sister, Lydia Grady and one grandson, Ernest E. Clenin. He was a retired diesel mechanic. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Emilia Orozco Reed; four daughters, Janet Foster of Winslow, Dorothy Scranton of El Paso, Texas, Eileen McDonald and Emily Dwyer, both of Winslow; one brother, Bob Reed of Elkins; a sister, Julia Purser of Winslow; fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Rosary will be 5:00 pm, Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Moore’s Chapel followed by visitation 5:30 – 7:00 pm at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Friday at Moore’s Chapel followed by burial at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
