William Henry Rader's Obituary
William Henry Rader, 87, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in Fayetteville. He was born November 14, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Ozie and Mygnon Rader. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and his Masters in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant (Junior Grade). He was a Corporate Executive, Professor, Author, and loving husband and father. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years; Dorothy R. Rader of Fayetteville, AR, sister; Julia Wiegman and husband John of Bellevue, Washington, daughter; Dianne Kuhn and husband Tom of Anacortes, Washington, daughter; Patricia Rader of Bethesda, Maryland, daughter; Debbie Crandall and husband Marc of Fayetteville, Arkansas, son; Colonel John Rader and wife Patty of Springfield, Virginia, daughter; Caren Lyne and husband Rex of Fayetteville, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by sister; Geraldine Watts and her husband William of Boise, Idaho.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, January 14, 2008, in the Wesley Chapel at the Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, with Reverend J. Anthony Holifield officiating.
