William Jess Stoner's Obituary
William Jess Stoner, 69, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in Fayetteville. He was born April 4, 1936 in Forest City, Arkansas. The son of Cecil L. and Ester May (Ryan) Stoner. He was an overland truck driver and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Pamala (Johnson) Stoner of the home, two daughters; Judy Lynn (Stoner) Griggs of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Crickett Ann (Stoner) Saltz of Houston, Texas, six sons; Billy G. Stoner of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Jimmy C. Stoner of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Wesley H. Stoner of Illinois, Ricky P. Stoner of Lincoln, Arkansas, William Shayne Stayton of West Fork, Arkansas, Benny Lee Stayton of Elkins, Arkansas, one brother; Stanley Stoner of Newport, Arkansas and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 17, 2005 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Bonds and Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Son?s Chapel cemetery in Fayetteville. Pallbearers will be his son?s.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 2005 in the Chapel of Nelson- Berna Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM.
