William Kermit Mandrell's Obituary
Mr. William Kermit Mandrell, 85 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in Fayetteville. He was born February 20, 1921 in Datto, AR to William Irvin and Mattie (Breckenridge) Mandrell.
He was a U.S. Army Corp of Engineer veteran of World War II having served in Africa and Italy, a retired vice-president of manufacturing for Ely - Walker Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Old Wire Road Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Willodean Mandrell, one son, Bill Mandrell of Fayetteville, AR, one daughter, Kathy Mandrell Van Laningham and husband Scott of Fayetteville, AR, two sisters, Winnie White of Evansville, IN, Elizabeth Taylor of Erin, TN, one brother, Allen Mandrell of Cookville, TN, and one grandson, Will Van Laningham of Fayetteville
A gathering of friends will be held Friday, March 24, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
