I have so many fond memories of Bill- going to eat at the Mexican restaurant (where Bill ordered a hamburger every time but was always happy to go because that's what everyone else wanted), Razorback baseball games, playing cards at their house & the lake, he & JoAnne giving me the inside tour of Branson, hanging out at their campsite, the list goes on & on. Most of all, I remember Bill as one the most kind, gentle, humble people I've ever known. It was easy to see why Bill's family adored him and why JoAnne would repeatedly tell him he was "the cutest, sweetest thing in this whole town." Bill was always so humble when I would ask him about his military service in WWII, running a well known business here in town or anything else. He never wanted to bring attention to himself even when well-deserved. Bill is like family to me and it's been a pleasure to get to know his sweet family- Judy, Carol, Larry, Kelly, June and all the others. It was apparent how much he was loved by his wife, family & 'step' family. You all took wonderful care of a wonderful man. My thoughts & prayers are with you.
