William Limp's Obituary
William "Bill" F. Limp, 94, of Fayetteville, Ark. died at Butterfield Trail
Village Health Center September 27, 2004. He was born July 26, 1910, in
Birdseye, Ind., to Phillip and Lou Limp. He served in the U.S. Army from
1942-1945 in North Africa, France and Germany. He was a founding member and
president of the Salem Indiana Exchange Club and a charter member of the Punta
Gorda, Florida, Elks Lodge 2606. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign
Wars, Post 6636, a member of Lodge 21 F&AM Salem, Indiana, and a member of
Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.
He grew up in Salem, Indiana, where he also lived from 1948 to 1972. In 1972
he retired from his home remodeling and siding business in Salem to
Sunnybreeze Golf Course near Arcadia, Florida, and he lived there until 1997
when he moved to Fayetteville.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Marjorie Coryell Limp. He is
survived by two brothers, Allen Limp of Salem, Ind., and Pete Limp of Hamburg,
Ind.; one son, Fred Limp and wife, Elaine Williams, of Fayetteville, Ark., and
two grandchildren, Kelley Wolf of Park City, Utah, and Jason Limp of Seattle,
Washington.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., September 30, Thursday, at St.
Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville with Rev. Lowell Grisham officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Building Fund.
