William Mitchell Pruitt, 63, of Bentonville, Arkansas died at Circle of Life, Legacy Village Tuesday, December 24, 2019. He was born July 29, 1956 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to William Denver Pruitt and Alice Maxine McGarrah Pruitt.
He worked for Walmart in transportation for over 17 years and as a driver for 15 years.
William got his love for all animals from his grandfather. He cherished his dog, Rugar and his cat, Miss Kitty. He was a great cook and enjoyed spending time outdoors whether it was camping, gardening or fishing for trout on the White River with his brother, Mike.
He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love for his family.
William is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sammie Nichols Pruitt; one son, Dallas Pruitt; grandsons, Ethan Mize and Hayes Pruitt; his brother, Mike Pruitt, nephew, Ruben Pruitt and wife, Amanda; great nephews, Caleb, Jacob and Carson Pruitt and cousin, Sharon White
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas.
A visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time.
