William "Shayne" Stayton's Obituary
William “Shayne” Stayton, age 63, of West Fork, Arkansas, passed away on October 17, 2024, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born on March 11, 1961, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to William “Bill” Lee Stayton and Pamela Johnson Stoner. Shayne married Rhonda Rene Bemrose on April 6, 2002, in Fayetteville. He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years, spending the last 15 years owning and operating Red Banner Transportation. Shayne was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Bill and Carmen Stayton; mother and stepfather, Pam and William “Jess” Stoner; and stepbrother, Wesley Stoner.
Shayne is survived by his wife, Rhonda Stayton; stepson, Heath Coker of West Fork; grandchildren, Gavin Taylor Coker, Zachary Dylan Coker, and Adelinde Claire Coker; brother, Benjamin Stayton of West Fork; stepsisters, Judy Griggs of Fayetteville and Cricket Saltz of Texas; and stepbrothers, Bill Stoner of Fayetteville, Jimmy Stoner of Searcy, and Ricky Stoner of Searcy.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
