Uncle Bill will be remembered and loved! He had a dry sense of humor and his eyes twinkled when he laughed. He would wrap you in a bear hug and then disappear into his recliner with a newspaper. He loved to drive! He devoted himself to his work and family… finding his balance. In the late 1970’s I would visit for several weeks in the summer… he would always make me feel welcomed and offer short to the point advice… “as long as Diana’s around you will be fine, go have some fun” and almost under his breath he added… “If Kevin knows what’s good for himself, he will keep that girl… she’s a good one”. I sought medical advice from time to time and he always proved to be correct and put me at ease. Generally resting more and giving it some time to change was high on his list. Find your own way to relax and don’t overthink. I will always appreciate the support, care, comfort and love he showed me. When I think of Uncle Bill, I think of my Dad… those two were free spirited stinkers, that prayed, laughed and would offer help to anyone. I do find myself smiling at the thought of the two of them in heaven together being reunited… and then immediately finding and embracing their parents, other brothers, Aunt & Unk… and possibly ever soul they pass… it’s just who they are and what they do… my personal LIGHT SPREADERS! Rest in peace Uncle Bill and feel my love! Marcy
