WILMA YATES
Wilma Yates, 80, of West Fork, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Fayetteville.
She was born July 12, 1931 at Farmington, the daughter of Ralph and Elma Burns Hopper. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Yates and a son, Doug Smith.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandy Knickerbocker of Farmington, Delores Gross of Bella Vista, Diane Freet of Hot Springs and Gail Simms of Oklahoma; three sons, Rufus Junior Smith of California, Allen Smith of West Fork and Ronnie Yates of Fayetteville; two sisters, Peggy Humphrey of California and Patsy Workman of California; two brothers, Glenn Wirick of California and Gene Hopper of Waldron, AR; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 6 at Campbell Cemetery at West Fork, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
There will be no visitation.
