Zachary Steven Smith's Obituary
Zachary Steven Smith, 31 of Bentonville, AR passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 in his home following a seizure. He was born December 18, 1991. He was adopted by his parents, Steve and Gina Smith.
Zach was a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas and attended church at Christian Life Cathedral with a strong involvement in the youth program and mission trips to Honduras. He graduated from Har-Ber High School class of 2010. He attended the University of Wyoming then graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Seattle, Washington. Making great food was always a passion for Zach.
His favorite place was anywhere in the mountains; snowboarding, skiing, hiking, mountain climbing, and four-wheeling. He also enjoyed music and playing his guitar.
Zach is survived by his father, Steve Smith and his wife Kellye of Siloam Springs, AR, his mother, Gina Smith of Springdale, AR, one sister, Megan Smith also of Springdale, his paternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Smith of Noble, OK, nephew, Wynter Smith, and two nieces, Blakely Humphries, and Hadlee Garrett.
A private family memorial service was held at in the Cathedral Chapel at Christian Life Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church 206 West Johnson Ave. Springdale, AR 72764 earmarked for the Cuba Ministry.
