Your in our thoughts and prayers. Wayne and Lynda Brumley
Growing up down the dead end street from Alton, Alice, Laura & Kim, I have many fond memories. I remember the big parties they had on the fourth of July every year and how hard he worked to decorate the house for every holiday, even thought it was out in the country and hardly any passersby. Alton was a great host and seemed to always have a big smile on his face. He and his family were true friends when my dad passed away and I will never forget that. He continued to be a friend and handy man for us for years, repairing our lawn mower time and time again. He worked on it a lot, sometimes it was twice in one month. We moved away from Antoinette in 2005 and Alton begged us not to. I remember him saying, “You just don’t know what kind of neighbors we will get.” I know now after moving several times later, you just don’t know what kind of neighbors you had, until you don’t.
So very sorry for your loss. Praying that God brings you comfort today and the difficult days ahead.
