I wanted to write a memory of Lorraine from my mother Velma Willhite. Mother tells the story of her and Lorraine going to Tuesday morning prayer in Fayetteville many many years ago. After the service was over, they would go out together usually just the two of them to find lunch. Their goal was to eat for a dollar each. My mother cherishes that memory and she has told it to me so many times. Mom and dad would celebrate their wedding anniversary with John and Lorraine on several occasions and if I’m not mistaken Ann and Fred Hanna also shared same anniversary date and would celebrate with them some. Lorraine was a wonderful woman and we’re going to miss her.
Remembering happy times eating at Shoney’s Big Boy or musty ice cream from your never empty freezer. So many unforgettable memories with Lorene and John. We miss you now, sweet Lorene, but will see you again one day. Until then…..all our love to the family.
