Argie Stanberry, 96 of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in Knoxville, TN. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Stanberry Sr. Survivors in Read Obituary
So sorry to hear of Aunt Argie passing. It is so ironic how the lives of our mothers crossed over the last years of their lives. Hope they are at last happy and content.
As cousins we never got to know each other. That is a real sadness considering we lived so close.

Dear Mrs. Stanberry and Family,
I occasionally go on line to see what is going on in Fayetteville. I was so sorry to see your mother passed away. I know how difficult it is for all of you. Please know that I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I well remember how supportive your family was when my parents passed away. It's hard to believe they have been gone for 20 & 16 years. As you know no matter how many years go by, they stay so dear to our hearts. No doubt you have many wonderful memories of your mom to reflect on and bring you comfort.
Sebastian and I have been in Northern VA for the last seventeen years and a couple of years back he started his own engineering company and he is supporting the Army right now so the keeps us both busy. Most important he is enjoying his work.
I see you son Andy lives close by. In fact my niece lives in Stafford. When you come to this area, please look us up as we would be delighted to see you.
Again, I shall keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care.

Shirley & Andy, my sympathy to you on the loss of your mother. I remember her from my days in Fayetteville at St. Joe's and what a tireless worker she was for the Church and school. And, Shirley, she has to be a world class Mom to produce a family like you and your siblings.
Thanks to both of you for your friendship during my days at UofA, and Andy, whether or not you knew this, you were indirectly responsible for my first reporting job with our local daily newspaper.
I was so sorry to hear about your great loss. It was a life time ago when I worked for you, Dr. Stanberry. It was a wonderful time for me and you and Carol taught me a lot. I will keep you all in my prayers. God bless.
