Argie Stanberry, 96 of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in Knoxville, TN.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Stanberry Sr. Survivors include daughter Shirley Lucas and husband Andrew of Fayetteville, AR; Her son, Dr. Ernest Stanberry, Jr. and wife, Carol, of Florida; and daughter, Phyllis Rueff and husband Dr. David Rueff of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, LTC (US Army Ret.) Andrew Lucas III of Stafford, VA; Ernest Lucas, of Maumelle; Air Force Lt. Col. John C. Lucas, of Scott AFB, IL, Thomas Lucas, of Manor, TX; and Cathy Spalding, of Sellersberg, IN. Sandra Christopher of Dallas, TX; Nancy Keen and Carin Evans of Fayetteville; Stan Stanberry of Dallas, TX; Scott Stanberry of Denver, CO, David Rueff, Jr. of Jackson, MS; Ellen Strunk of Birmingham, AL; Andrew Rueff of Dallas, TX; Dr. Sarah Rueff of Billings, MT; Mary Hobeika of Brentwood, TN, Kimberly Stanberry of Florida, Lisa Faulkner of Dallas, TXand numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a Rosary Service beginning at 6:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Joseph Church Building Fund, 1722 N. Starr Road, Fayetteville, 72701.
