Betty Hight Hannah's Obituary
Betty Hight Hannah, age 104, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Springdale. She was born June 26, 1916 in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of William Clarence and Eula Mae Berry Hight. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Hannah; a son Kenneth Hannah and a granddaughter Gwendolyn Claussen.
She graduated from Fayetteville High School in June 1932. She married Warren Kellum Hannah of Prairie Grove on August 14, 1932.
She was graduated from Williams Institute of Embalming, Kansas City, Missouri in March 1935. She and her husband owned and operated funeral homes in Yellville, Arkansas, Cotton Plant, Arkansas and Neosho, Missouri. They organized the Burial Associations in Harrison, Yellville and Cotton Plant. She was a member of University Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Hannah Dietz and her husband Jim, Barbara Hannah Campbell Lucken and her husband Tiger of Little Rock and Brenda Hannah Grant and her husband Chuck of Keller, Texas; four grandchildren, Gregory Scott Campbell and his wife Chrissie, Gail Anne Stuart and her husband Chris, Karena Kaye Wilkins and her husband Thomas and Tom Claussen; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Moore’s Chapel. Graveside service will be private, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
