Bettye Reese's Obituary
Bettye Reese, age 87, of Springdale, died Friday, August 29, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born July 17, 1927 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the daughter of Virgil A. and Myrtle Lockhart Cosby. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Reese in 2012 and a twin brother, Bill Cosby.
She was a retired employee of Crescent Department Store in Prairie Grove. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fayetteville and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by two sons, Don Reese and his wife, Dorothy of Kansas, Oklahoma and Richard Reese and his wife, Kim of Springdale, Arkansas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel and burial will follow in Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove.
