Billie and I worked together at Lee Hornady's Gulf Station on Moro Street, Fordyce, Ar back in the mid-fifties. I have lived here in NW Ark for 46 years and Billie and I visited several times sharing memories. I was shocked to learn of his passing. Prayers for the families now and in the coming days.
I am so sorry for the loss that you have sustained this week. I know he will be missed, but I also know that heaven is a little sweeter with him being there. I am praying for all of your family that God's grace will lift you up during this extremely hard time.
My memories of Billie Burke center around our growing up in Bucksnort in Dallas County. We were "walking distance" neighbors, rode bicycles, played in their barn and swam in Cooks Creek. He and his brother Frank were a a little older than I, but I remember both being kind, gentle people and a pleasure to play with. My best wishes to his family and a special hello to Frank.

I'm am so sorry to learn of Bill's passing. What a special man he was. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. What an honor and blessing it was to have known Bill. My prayers go out to Yvonne and family.
