Susan and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My brother, Billy, died December 5, 2007 of colon cancer. Susan, when you get a chance and if you want to visit, give me a call or email. Again I am sorry for your loss, but I am sure your dad is in a better place.

Dear Susan and Billy: You may not remember me but my dad (Grady Swain) worked with Bill at Shell for many years. They called my dad "Gabby". I just wanted to send my condolences to you and your families on the loss of Bill. He was a good friend and I remember him fondly.

Sorry of you loss. Mr Ashmore was a good man, I last saw him 4-5 years ago, his group was getting the golf league going at the Deer Park Golf course, where I'm now a member, we now have 160 members in that group, Hope all is well with the rest of you.

Bill Ashmore was a great person with great values. In my early years growing up, I knew and admired Mr Ashmore in all that he stood for. He was a very kind and genuine person. The world has lost a very dear man.
Billy, James, and Susan; I read with sadness the obituary of my good friend Bill Ashmore. He and I (and my family)have travelled both some good and some hard times over more than 60 years. I'll miss him. My condolences to each of you in this loss.
