Billy F. Ashmore's Obituary
Billy F. Ashmore, 83, late of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died on May 8, 2008 at Fayetteville. He was born November 23, 1924 to Nannie Kidd and Alvin Ashmore in Choctaw, Arkansas, graduated from Morrilton High School in 1942, and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He retired from Shell Oil Company after 38 years of service at the Deer Park, Texas Manufacturing Complex, and returned to Arkansas in 2006. He enjoyed golf, horse racing, his many friends and especially his family. He is survived by three children, sons Billy L. Ashmore, PhD and James L. Ashmore of Fayetteville and daughter Susan A. Ashmore of Springfield, Missouri, and one grandson, Evin Ashmore Davis, also of Springfield. Private burial Monday, May 12th at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
