Carlos Ramon Showers is my first nephew. I am his Auntee (Virginia Toney-ragland). Carlos started reading at the age of 2 years old. Carlos was super intelligent so much so that the Head Start where he attended in the late 70's had to create an educational environment specifically for him. He is a "Legacy" of the Sutton family from Morrilton, Arkansas. My daughter, Danielle was like his first sister. I love Carlos so very much, but God knows, best. He is with Danielle now and they are combined in spirit "forever". That's God. Moore's Chapel has done an "OUTSTANDING" Job in creating an atmosphere of love, honor with reflections during our time of grief! I don't know how we could have done it but for the help of your God-driven ministry and homegoing celebration. Mr. Kaelin and your staff; Thank you from our sincere hearts!
God Bless and Keep you is our prayer

I’m sorry to hear that Carlos passed away. We went to high school and college together. Carlos helped make me feel at home at UofA by yelling across campus “AU” anytime he would see me. One of our high school professors gave me that nickname due to my initials, so Carlos enjoyed using it. He always had a big smile and would wave when he saw me. I’ll remember his friendliness.
The one thing Carlos brought to my life was his gentle nature. Carlos would tell me, everytime we'd see each other, how happy his life was.
His wife and children brought joy to him. Carlos was a friend who amazed me with his happiness. It's very rewarding knowing a friend was happy. I will miss Carlos. Such a great friend and the happiest man I've ever known.
I was fortunate to be a teammate of Carlos at the U of A. Very sorry for your loss.

Carlos was a great guy always had a smile and never seen a stranger. Loved working with him. Please send prayers for the family. I always enjoyed running into him at Walmart.God bless you all.
Carlos was a great Brother in law. He was an awesome Husband and great Dad. We were so blessed to have him in our family. I could see the love he had for my Sister, Cassie everytime he looked at her and his Kids. We love him and will miss him dearly.
