Carlos Ramon Showers' Obituary
Carlos Ramon Showers, age 47, of Fayetteville Arkansas passed away Saturday May 1st, 2021. Carlos was born on April 3rd, 1974 in Morrilton Arkansas to Carlos L showers and Elizabeth Ann Sutton. He was the grandson of Professor John M and Billie Faye Sutton whom preceded him in death. Carlos gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Union Baptist Church in Morrilton Arkansas. Carlos was an all-around athlete through it all he kept a 4.0 GPA and graduated top of his class at Morrilton high school and later attended the University of Arkansas where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology and was a starting offensive lineman for the Arkansas Razorbacks wearing number 78. During college he also maintain a 4.0 GPA under the mentorship of Jack Crowe, Coach Ford and Coach Houston Nutt. After College Carlos settled down and started a family and a career at ConAgra Foods in Fayetteville Arkansas. Carlos made a difference and an impact in everyone's lives that he came in contact with. Carlos Had A Gentle Spirit and was often referred to as a "gentle giant ". Carlos will be truly missed but never forgotten by all who love him. Carlos is survived by his wife Cassie Showers of Fayetteville four daughters Sydney Choate and her husband Cameron, Deja Showers, Carleesya Showers, and Xavya Showers all of Fayetteville. One son Carlos Ramon Showers Jr. (CJ) of Fayetteville; His mother Elizabeth Ann Sutton of Little Rock; two sisters Arianna Brooks of Little Rock, Kisha Griffin of North Carolina; two brothers John Michael Brooks of Little Rock and Alex Showers of North Carolina; his granddaughter, Annora Showers; nephews, Steve Adams and John Michael Brooks Jr of Little Rock, Arkansas; his aunt Virginia Toney-ragland and uncle, John Sutton both of Little Rock. Carlos also leaves behind a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday May 7, 2021 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
