Carolyn was special to me. We shared a deep love of dogs and a love of all things Scottish. As long as her health allowed, she attended the Burns Night Dinners at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, hosted by the Ozark Highlanders Pipe Band. I especially admired her for holding membership in the Third Order of St. Fancis. Carolyn, you will be greatly missed.

Aunt Carolyn was a great addition to my world. She was a spitfire who followed our travels and shared her experiences in those same locations with us whenever our experiences and hers overlapped.
She was a true animal lover and followed our "foster adventures" in Denver for a decade, with many comments on how to help us integrate the new dogs or just adoration for the new addition.
When I helped start an animal sanctuary in Mexico, Carolyn was there to support it from Day 1. She followed the dogs, and the rescue and the work. I will miss her and our exchanges about animals and all other things.
We are a small dog rescue in Mexico that strives to eliminate animal cruelty and save the worst case dogs in need. Carolyn was a supporter from the beginning.
She was motivated to do that by her love for her niece-in-law, Kim DiDomenico Duty, one of our Board members.
In her honor, we have planted a tree here at our little sanctuary. We will always be appreciative of her support and love for animals. The sanctuary, while small, has managed to plant a bougainvillea vine or a crape myrtle tree in honor of supporters who have passed. No one has requested this; it's just our way of keeping their presence with this project eternally.
For Carolyn: a white blooming tree. Rest in peace, enjoy the rainbow bridge and all the animals in heaven.🤍

We have known Carolyn, and the family, since our move to Fayetteville and each of us have been blessed by her caring nature, her wit, and her depth of knowledge. She will be missed. We send our prayers for comfort for the coming days.
