Charlie welcomed us into the Turner Street neighborhood in 1991. He did some wonderful things for us and we all became good friends. We will miss him, God Bless you Charlie!

It was so good to see you both at CLC this morning; little did I know the pain you were feeling due to the loss of Charles. The only solace I had during the time that my own father battled cancer was knowing that when he died the pain would end and that he would spend eternity in heaven. Praise God for that!
I know that Charles and Daddy are rejoicing in heaven. May God give all of you the strength - and solace - needed in the days to come.

We always admired Charley's artistic talents especially his wood carving. Jane's parents, the Whittings, were neighbors and, through them, we knew Charley and his work. We hae several carvings that we enjoy very much. Charley assisted us in restoring a very old carousel horse by carving a new tail and feet in exactly the original style. He had a unique talent for bring humor out of a blank piece of wood that often brought smiles to those who viewed the result. His work will live on.
Just want to let you know that I am thinking and praying for you all.
I have missed Charlie at church from many years now and know that he is now happy and at peace. I see the dove so often and think of how I could always get a hug and a piece of candy.
I know you will miss him but soon we all will be at home with our Lord and together rejoicing and praising God.
