Clyde Bridges' Obituary
Mr. Clyde Bridges, 92 of Springdale, AR passed away Friday, December 12, 2003 in his home. He was born May 4, 1911 in Monroe, OK to James Ira and Mary Elizabeth (Gober) Bridges.
Mr. Bridges was the retired owner and operator of Bridges Keyboard Center of Fayetteville, former Skelly Oil Company Distributor for Northwest Arkansas, a member of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, AR, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
His first wife of 37 years Donna Bridges and his daughter Evelyn Ruth Hess preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Maxine Bridges, one daughter; Phyllis Dean and her husband Jerry of Alma, AR, two sons; Jim Sitton and wife Joann of Ronoak, VA, Richard Sitton and wife Connie of Tulsa, OK, son-in-law William E. "Bill" Hess of Van Buren, AR, ten grandchildren; Tim Hess and Jeanne Papet both of Fort Smith, AR, Joanna Hicks of Andrews AFB, Maryland, Amanda Khochareun of Harrisonburg, VA, Todd Sitton of Tulsa, OK, Steve, Mark and David Dean of Alma, AR, Donna Stillwell of Alma, AR, and Micah Dean of Springdale, AR., and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, December 15, 2003 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home from noon until 9:00 PM with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at 2:00 PM in the Fayetteville First Baptist Church with Reverend Joshua Wisdom officiating. Entombment will follow in Fairview Memorials Gardens in Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Monte Wilson, John Wisdom, Harold Hayden, Rick Taylor, John Beaty, Chris Beaty.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Beaty, Morris Clarkson, Dr. Carson Hayden, Bob Post, and Bill Finley.
