To the family of Dan,
Dan was a friend who made the transition of moving from Minneapolis to Charlotte a good one. I met Dan working at BGEA. I have never laughed do hard in my life. I appreicated DAN for his thoughtfulness for others, his ability to make a difficult day tolerable. He also made time for me when we met in the hallways here at BG. I will miss DAN. Carrie-- my prayers are with you.
Danny had an amazing sense of humor, and could never fail to bring a smile or a light moment to his friends. He had a wonderful heart, something that was not hard to see even when we were younger. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Carrie: As I was listening to all that was a part of the tribute to Dan this morning, a very, very special song repeated over and over in my mind and I would like to share that with you, your family and Dan's family...

Dan is "in the presence of The King"! That leaves me speechless...
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Danny's friends and family. I am so sorry for your loss. I must say, Danny was a tough act to follow. I know this because I was ALWAYS behind him throughout elementary and high school. That crazy alphabetical order system...Danny Sykes, Katina Taylor and Brandon Tate.

Dan was a real pleasure to spend time with at JBU. I very much enjoyed and appreciated Dan and count myself lucky to have known his lightheartedness but also his deep appreciation for what his Savior did for him as well as his deep and genuine concern for other people. He was an example to me and I feel a real sense of loss.
To his wife and family, please know that Dan made a positive impact on peoples lives at JBU, including mine. He was a good man. You are in our prayers.
Dan Sykes will be greatly missed here at BGEA. The more I got to know Dan, the more I realized what a great man he was. He was a people person. He always took time out to help us or to add a little humor to our day. Dan is in heaven- I look forward to seeing him again. Carrie, we love you and we are lifting you up in prayer.
I had the pleasure of working with Dan for the last five months and he was such a joy to be around. He was always helpful, encouraging and caring - and that is only the beginning of the depth of his character. He will be deeply missed at BGEA. It is our loss and Heaven's gain. The finance department will not be the same without him. My prayers are with you all. I pray that God's loving arms will surround each of you and comfort you in a way that only God can. We love you Carrie.

I am saddened by the news of your loss. Dan was such a nice guy and had a great sense of humor. You have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since I heard the news.

Dan was always so cheerful and helpful whenever I needed a problem fixed with our Purchasing Ordering system. My husband works with Carrie, and we will both miss Dan very much. We are praying for Carrie and Dan's family. God bless you.
Dan had such a sweet and funny disposition. He was always kind and helpful to us when we had a question at work. We will miss him very much, but it is so good to know he is with the Lord.
