Danny Ray Sykes' Obituary
Danny Ray Sykes, 32 of Pineville, North Carolina, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, April 26, 2006. He was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 23, 1973 to Ronald Ray Sykes and Linda Newman Sykes.
Dan Sykes was a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserves from June 2, 1993 until February 10, 1997. He graduated from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and moved to the Charlotte, North Carolina area in 1999. He was an accountant with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at its headquarters in Charlotte.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Lynn Morrison Sykes of Pineville, North Carolina; one brother, Chantz Sykes and mother, Linda Newman Sykes both of Greenwood, Arkansas and his grandmother, Mrs. Helene Newman of Springdale, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 1, 2006 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Monday, May 1, 2006.
