I just wanted to state there are no words that can comfort you during this time of grief. I can only state may God wrap you in comfort and knowledge that he is in the most beautiful place. (probably having a picnic with Yogi and Booboo;) ) I enjoyed being a small glimpse of those memories with your dad and family. He never treated me as one of Kelly's friend but as an extension of family. I will cherish the bear tshirt forever. As our hearts mourn your loss and try to offer whatever strength and comfort that we maybe able to superficially give you, may you slowly take the hurt, pain and void of his physical presence to a place of peace and an outlook of happy memories! Grief is individualized and has no time limit and honestly hurt really hurts! So take your time and heal! We empathize with your process of grieving and offer our shoulder to cry on, ear to listen or voice to speak when needed. I firmly believe He opened his spiritual eyes in the arms of Jesus and family. He will be missed. I am a testimony because I have had both my biological parents pass as well, that where there was great love that there will be great memories that will live onward through you! Don't be afraid to keep those parts of him alive!

To each of the family, Cheryl and Kelly, to his sisters Alma, Imogene and Joyce, May the Lord hold each of you in the Lords loving arms. I know this is a difficult time for each of you. The Lord will give you strength. Lean upon the Lord.

Darrel was a great friend. We will miss him very much. Our deepest sympathy.
