Darrell Wayne Dunaway's Obituary
Darrell Wayne Dunaway, age 59, of Elkins passed away Friday August 7, 2020 at home. He was born September 4, 1960 in Fayetteville the son of Oscar Guy and Lydia Mae Couch Dunaway. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He retired from Edwards Design and Construction after 34 years as a field superintendent. He was an avid outdoorsman who lived to hunt and fish. He enjoyed farming and the farm is where you could find him most of the time, along with his best friend, Doc.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Cheryl Bragg Dunaway; a daughter Kelly Dunaway and her husband Scottie Fisk, all of Elkins; three sisters Alma Turner of Fayetteville, Imogene Moppin and husband Darrell of Fayetteville and Joyce Smith and husband James of Little Rock; two grandchildren Sophia Lux Fisk and Hunter Combs and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday August 12, 2020 at Richland Baptist Church at Mount Olive with Funeral Service starting at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
