Denny Jay Halfacre's Obituary
Denny Jay Halfacre, age 70, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on June 18, 2023, in Springdale. He was born on February 16, 1953, in Batesville, Arkansas, to Charley Avery Halfacre and Euna Love Halfacre. Denny graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and attended the University of Arkansas. He began his career in law enforcement working for UAPD before going to work for the Fayetteville Police Department. Denny went on to work for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in the Criminal Investigation Division and finished his law enforcement career working with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Euna Halfacre.
Denny is survived by his daughter, Angela Wyles and husband Jim of Springdale; grandchildren, Jason and Hannah Wyles of Springdale; brothers, Van Halfacre and wife Becky of Bay Minette, Alabama, and Glenn Halfacre and wife Melanie of Ash Flat, Arkansas; and nephews and nieces, Matt Halfacre and wife Kristina, Phillip Halfacre and wife Amber, Sam Halfacre and wife Jessica, Allen Moore and wife Lauren, and Allie Moore.
There will be a private celebration of life held at a later date.
