Donald A. Hurd's Obituary
Mr. Donald A. Hurd, 79 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born May 22, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Edwin and Wilma (Williams) Hurd.
He owned and operated Midwest Auto Salvage and Sylvania Airport, both in Sturtevant, WI and served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II.
In Fayetteville Don took great joy in the restoration work he did the Arkansas Air Museum. He was an avid old car collector.
He is survived by his wife Debra, two daughters, Bethlene Liesch of Las Vegas, NV, Mallory Pinney of Fayetteville, AR, two brothers, Duke Hurd of Grand Junction, CO, Vince Smith of Grants Pass, OR, three granddaughters, two great grandsons, and many nieces and nephews. He was extremely proud of them all.
Services will be held at a later date.

Debra would like to publicly acknowledge support received from family and friends, and the entire staff of 3 South @ Washington Regional Medical Center during this past week, and would like to especially thank Denise Spalding who made the past 18 months so much easier for all.
