Well, I just received word regarding Pattie passing away on October 27, 2021 and found Cousin Don. We are sending our Condolences to Donnie by message on his recorder on the home telephone, and sending our Love and Best Wishes from iskenderun, Turkey from Rodney Langley and Wife Gonul Langley.
May Don and Pattie rest peacefully with the Lord.
Don was a very special man. He was always doing things for other people. He always had a smile for us and genuinely cared about people. He definitely had a servants heart and will be missed. But I’m quite sure he has now heard the words “Well Done”

Don hired me in about 1965 as a secretary for United Built Homes at which time was located across the street from Wheeler Motors. Along about 1974 United Built in another location which is where it is today.
During the early years he would bring his younger daughter, Lisa, to come to work with me. She was a very quick learner and a gem to work with (must run in the family.)
My son, Glenn McCleister and I are grateful to have been included in some of the Pitts family rodeo days. We would all load up in their Ford station wagon. It was a fun trip especially when the girls won but worth it if they didn’t and we were fortunate to have had those times together.
Patty was the woman in purple. She was always busy sewing for Kelly and Lisa. They were good Barrel Racers.
I’m grateful to have worked for him. may he rest in peace and may his family be blessed.

My husband, Tony Petrini and I, Barbara built a large foster home beginning 20 years ago. We took in teenage girls who no one else would take, We loved and cared for over 70 of the girls. When we got too old for that, we started taking in people who were on low income. We have had over 200 live with us since we (with the help of God and Don Pitts) began the house. I truly enjoyed the years I worked for Don as loan operations manager at UB. Don was a great person and a super business man. I appreciate knowing Don and the many times he came in my office and shared a short visit with me. My love and prayers are with the family and pray for strength during this stressful time.
